But in that short time, my trading performance has come up more than in the previous year of struggling to stay consistently profitable. I had previously subscribed to another popular Swing Trading service, and was only told to buy this or that stock, and sell here or there, but I never learned why some trades worked and others did not. (their performance was only a little better than the S&P!). Brian's approach is to drill the fundamental workings of VWAP and multi-timeframe trading, stressing risk management, and "making the trade your own" which forces me to look for low risk, high probability setups using his time tested strategies. Bottom line?...a great educational experience. I expect that down the road a bit, that I should be able to "cut-the-cord" and fly solo in the ever changing market environment. Thanks, Brian!

I have had many stock subscriptions Alphatrends is easily the best. Everyday Brian gives you a sense of where the market is in general. Then goes into details about particular stocks. Brian always gives you actionable ideas/techniques on risk management (stops). The service is fantastic, and Brian manages to continually improve it!

I consider it one of the best sources I have found for instilling a consistent methodology, and trading and investing discipline. While my style varies somewhat from Brian's I find his objective, non-emotional approach to market action to be very helpful, and he consistently brings stock patterns to my attention that I was previously unaware of. I constantly see mainstream stock recommendations that violate Brian's principles and I think most investors would be far more profitable if they followed the approaches Brian suggests, or at least made themselves aware of the risks they are taking when they don't. I recommend Brian's service for both experienced and newer traders and investors.

Brian discusses actionable trades that are low risk. Trade suggestions are valuable, but the biggest value is the knowledge transfer that he provides. Becoming a member of Alphatrends allows you to have a DAILY teacher transferring his 30 years of experience. I have hired guides for fishing many times, a single day is nice, but nothing compares to Brians teaching style that allows you to BUILD a valuable skill.

Some key take aways for me from Brian’s trainings and videos is how the moving averages are calculated and plotted depending on your timeframe, trading multiple timeframes and stage analysis market structure on the different timeframes along with the . Brian’s understanding of the markets and highlighting where buyers and sellers, supply and demand exist on a chart by using some of Brian’s suggested overlays. You don’t know what you don’t know, until you have been made aware of it, in both of Brian’s books and website you will learn something even if it’s a only a small thing that you may not have known before, which could make the difference in your trading success as I have. He is a trader and also author of the two best selling books ( Technical analysis using multiple timeframes and Anchored VWAP ). I am a alphatrend subscriber and I took the Advanced trading course ( around 9 hours videos) . It helped me alot in my trading journey . I was looking for something that makes sense during the buying and selling. I wanted to learn about the market behavior so i can do better. Brian's book helped me a lot. After reading his book (Anchored VWAP) and watching his videos (Advanced trading course) my perspective is totally changed towards the market. Alot of things are making sense to me now. Low risk entries comparing to the Gains are the best thing a trader can do. I am so glad i found his book . I am a fan of his work and i am looking forward to learn a lot from him about the technical analysis.

No performance tracking at all, so no way to evaluate any period of performance. I don't like these kinds of games at all. There is zero evidence that Brian Shannon is anything but yet another trading talking head with poor results. The website looks like it's never been updated, and has no educational content. For $129 a month you can do much better. To me, Alphatrends is a complete waste of money.I never understood why these so-called trading guru's like Brian Shannon get so much attention and yet they produce poor results. It's weird.Save your money, learn to trade and do your own research.
