Our Verification Process
Before a review ever reaches you, it passes through six layers.
1. Identity, not anonymity. Every review is tied to a real, identifiable AllPros account. There's no anonymous submission path; if you can't be identified, you can't publish. This is the foundation everything else builds on: accountability starts with knowing who's speaking.
2. A direct claim of membership. As part of the form, the reviewer explicitly confirms they purchased or joined the program they're reviewing. It's a simple statement, but it matters. They're putting their name behind a specific, checkable claim, not writing in the abstract.
3. AI cross-checks the content. Before any human sees it, our system checks whether the review is actually consistent with real, known details about the course, not just whether it sounds plausible, but whether it holds up against what we know is true. A review describing a curriculum, format, or structure that doesn't match the actual course gets flagged here, immediately.
4. Direct verification with the creator, where it exists. For creators we have a direct partnership with, we can verify a reviewer's claim through the creator's own side, similar to how G2 lets vendors confirm their own customers. This isn't available for every course yet, since it depends on an active partnership, but where it exists, it's the strongest signal we have.
5. An algorithm watching for patterns, not people. Separately from the content check, our system scans across submissions for the signals fraud tends to leave behind: unusual submission velocity, repeated IP activity, phrasing that echoes across supposedly unrelated reviewers. A single review read in isolation won't show this. A pattern across many will.
6. A real person makes the final call. Every review, not a sample, not just the ones that look risky, is read and approved by someone on our team before it goes live. If something's unclear or thin, we don't just reject it; we email the reviewer and ask them to say more.
After It's Published
7. Incentives are disclosed, not hidden. Some parts of our review form are optional and reward-eligible, for instance, sharing more detail about a course's community. When a review includes content submitted for a reward, it's labeled as "Incentivized" right where you read it. We'd rather you know a reward was involved than have you assume every detail came purely unprompted.
8. You can flag what we missed. No verification process catches everything the first time. Every published review has a flag icon you can click on, so if something reads as off, inconsistent, or fake, you can send it back into our review queue, this time with your suspicion attached.
That's the standard we hold every single review to: no exceptions, no shortcuts, and no review too small to check.
