I joined Warrior Trading with basically no idea what I was doing. I spent a few weeks learning the setups, using the simulator and watching Ross trade. Then I started trading with a small amount of my own money. At first it was pretty rough. I had a couple good trades and then gave half of it back because I got too confident 😂 But after a while things started clicking and I had a really good month. I ended up making around $2,000, which honestly felt insane to me. It's obviously not life changing money, but for someone who started with basically no clue what they were doing, seeing actual profit on my account was pretty crazy. I still have losing days and I'm definitely not trying to quit school and become a full-time trader lol. But Warrior Trading gave me a strategy to work with instead of just randomly buying stocks I saw on TikTok or YouTube. For me, that's what made it worth it.

This one was probably the biggest thing for me. I used to have a really bad habit where I'd take a loss and immediately want another trade to make the money back. Which obviously made things even worse sometimes. I didn't really think of it as a problem at first. I just thought I needed to get better at picking stocks. But after spending more time with Warrior Trading, I started paying way more attention to risk and what I was actually doing after a bad trade. There were a few days where I would've kept trading just because I was down for the day. Now I'm much more likely to just stop and come back tomorrow. That sounds super basic, but when you're actually watching your money go up and down it's way harder than it sounds. I also liked that the education isn't only about finding a good entry. There's a lot more around managing the trade and knowing when you're just forcing something. I'm still learning and I still screw up. I'm definitely not saying the course magically fixed my discipline lol. But I don't feel like every red trade is something I have to immediately "win back" anymore. That alone has probably saved me from some really dumb decisions.

I thought the useful part was gonna be learning setups and finding stocks. Turns out the boring stuff helped me way more. I started paying attention to things like when I was trading, how long I was holding stuff, where I was getting impatient and all the dumb little things I was doing over and over. Before Warrior Trading, if I had a bad day I'd just think I picked the wrong stock. Now sometimes I look back and realize... nope, I was just being stupid 😂 The journaling and reviewing part probably wasn't what I was most excited about when I joined, but it's become one of the things I actually use. I also like that Ross talks pretty openly about bad trades and mistakes. It makes it easier to admit when I messed something up instead of pretending every trade was supposed to work. I'm still nowhere near perfect. I have days where I break my own rules and then get annoyed at myself five minutes later. But I feel like I understand my own trading way better now. And honestly that's something I didn't really expect from a trading course.

When I first started, my thought process was honestly pretty stupid. I'd see a stock moving 10% or 15%, get excited and think I had to get in before it went even higher. Half the time I didn't even know why it was moving. I just didn't want to miss it. I remember doing this a bunch of times and then wondering why I was always getting in right before the stock pulled back lol. One thing I started picking up from Warrior Trading was looking at what was actually happening with the stock before jumping in. Is there news? Is there enough volume? How fast did it already move? Is it actually breaking out or am I just buying because a bunch of green candles showed up? I didn't suddenly become good at it or anything. I still make dumb entries. But now at least I usually have some reason for the trade. The live trading helped with that too. Sometimes Ross would be watching a stock that looked really interesting to me and then not take it. At first I didn't really get why. After seeing it happen enough times, I started noticing the stuff I was ignoring before. I still catch myself wanting to just click buy when something starts moving fast. That's probably not going away anytime soon 😂 But at least now I stop for a second and ask myself why I actually want the trade. That's something I definitely wasn't doing before.

Before joining, I had like 10 different strategies saved from YouTube and no clue which one I was actually supposed to use. One person said one thing, another person said something completely different, and I kept switching. Warrior Trading finally gave me one style to focus on. I liked being able to watch Ross trade, practice in the simulator and then go back over what I did. It made the whole thing feel less random. The community helped too. Sometimes I'd see someone ask a question that I was literally thinking about five minutes earlier. It's not magic and you still have to put in a ton of work, but I finally stopped jumping between random strategies every few days. That alone was huge for me.

I actually learned something pretty important from Warrior Trading. I don't think small-cap momentum trading is really for me. I liked the simulator and I learned a lot from watching Ross trade, especially how quickly things can change during the day. The community was cool too. But after actually practicing the strategy, I realized I prefer having more time to think before entering a trade. So I wouldn't say the program was bad. It just helped me figure out what kind of trader I don't want to be. Honestly, that's probably better to learn now than after losing a bunch of money.

Before Warrior Trading I was pretty much ready to start trading with real money. Looking back, that would've been a terrible idea. I had watched a bunch of YouTube videos and felt like I understood way more than I actually did. I knew what a breakout was, I knew what a pullback was, I knew a bunch of the words traders use, so I kinda thought I was ready. I definitely wasn't. The simulator gave me somewhere to actually screw up first. And I did. A lot. I'd chase a stock because it was moving fast, enter way too late, panic when it pulled back and then sell at the worst possible time. Then I'd look back at the trade and be like... why did I even do that? Doing that with fake money was honestly a really good reality check. I also started noticing patterns in my own mistakes. I'd keep entering after a stock had already made a huge move because I was scared of missing it. Or I'd hold something because I wanted it to come back instead of just admitting the trade was bad. Those are things that are easy to say you'll never do until you're actually in the trade. The scanners were probably my second favorite part. Before using them, I would just open random stocks and try to figure out what was worth watching. Having a way to find stocks that actually matched the type of setups I was learning about saved me a ton of time. The live trading was useful too because I could watch Ross make decisions and then try to understand why he was interested in one stock but ignored another. Sometimes I agreed with him and sometimes I didn't, which was actually good because it forced me to think instead of just copying everything. I still spent a lot of time watching lessons, but I think the biggest difference was being able to take what I learned and immediately practice it. That's something I was missing before. I was learning a lot of trading vocabulary but I wasn't really learning how I would react when a stock started moving quickly. The simulator showed me that I had a lot of bad habits before those habits cost me real money. I obviously wouldn't say it made me a good trader overnight. It didn't. I still made plenty of stupid trades and there were times where I thought I was getting better and then had a terrible day. But honestly, I'd much rather discover that while using fake money. For me, the simulator wasn't just some extra feature that came with the course. It was probably the thing that made all the other education actually useful.

My biggest problem with Warrior Trading wasn't really the information. There is honestly a crazy amount of it. My problem was that I kept consuming it instead of actually practicing. I'd watch a lesson, then another one, then find another strategy. It felt productive because I was spending hours learning, but after a while I realized I wasn't actually getting better. The simulator helped, but I still wished there was a more obvious "start here and do this" path. And for the price, I expected that part to be better. There is useful stuff here, I just think I needed less content and more direction.

I had already watched a ton of Ross on YouTube before I even looked at the paid program. That was actually part of the reason I joined. I thought if the free stuff was this useful, the paid stuff must be way better. But honestly, I didn't feel a big enough difference. A lot of the concepts felt really familiar because I'd already heard Ross talk about them in his videos. Obviously there was more inside the program, but I kept having that feeling of "wait, didn't I already learn this?" The scanners were cool and the simulator was probably the most useful part for me. I liked being able to actually practice instead of just watching another video. My bigger problem was that I didn't really know what I was supposed to be doing next. There is so much stuff that I would watch lessons for hours and then realize I hadn't actually practiced anything. I also expected more guidance considering how much the program costs. Maybe I just had the wrong expectations, but I thought paying for the course would make the learning path way more obvious. Ross is clearly a good trader and there is definitely useful information there. I just couldn't personally justify the price when so much of what I was learning felt similar to the free content.
