Studio Era is a well-structured, accessible option for women who've bounced between diets and want a sustainable home-based system. The combination of macro-personalized meal plans, follow-along workouts, weekly coaching calls, and a tight-knit community adds real value for the price. It's not for elite athletes or those wanting one-on-one coaching — but for the target audience, the ROI is hard to argue with.

About the creator
I actually enjoy her personality and she was what I needed to get me out of workout boredom. However, another major thing that is been gnawing at me is the fact that Maddie talks about getting toned and sculpted and yet she is not. She is just gotten thin and has no muscle. Why would I pay to follow someone who preaches muscle tone but does not have any herself? Does she have some sort of ED and not being forthcoming about it? I am actually a little concerned for her because something does not feel right lately but that is a different subject.

I have been doing the month to month plan on Maddie’s Studio Era app since last month. With that said, I have been questioning if I should find something else though. There is one gal in the community that comes off a touch competitive, maybe a little threatened by some and acts very authoritative, but I can deal with her ok. But, there are a few things that are bothering me: what the app’s macros show for me personally, and many others, are different than some of what she preaches. And if I ate the macros her app has suggested for me, I would go into ketosis. I need more than 107g of carbs per day. Also the protein is far more than what any studies I have read have shown as beneficial. I do not need 165g of protein a day. I have NO desire to do that kind of diet. And what is weird is that those macros do not match up with what she talks about in her videos. Now, I work with a Registered Dietitian so I wasn’t worried about whatever her app was telling me, but it still bothers me that this inconsistency is happening. Other women are getting this direction too. There are women in the program though that I can see getting some muscle so I am further confused. Like does her workouts actually work for women but she is just quietly not doing the workouts herself? It has got me reconsidering. I just do not know where else to turn for workouts that won’t leave my ADHD self bored if I leave her app and community.

In 8 weeks, I lost inches all over and 5 lbs, while my cholesterol dropped from 260 to 212 and my A1C from 6.7 to 6.2—despite being told diet alone couldn’t do.

I began following Maddie's program of strength training exercise, walking and high protein low carb eating about 8 weeks ago.

I have always worked out daily and was a long distance runner until a few months ago, running 6-7 miles or biking 18 miles every damn day while eating low fat, low gluten, and mostly plant based. I am a type 2 diabetic and have high cholesterol due to family genetics on both my mom's and dad's side. I'm not on any medications except an OTC supplement called CholestMD. I can't wait to see what another 8 weeks will bring and I will report back after my next bloodwork!

This is a Wins post celebrating progress after eight weeks; I’m grateful we can encourage each other to reach goals and be stronger versions of ourselves, and I can’t wait for the next 8 weeks and beyond.
