About the creator
He also helped me focus a little bit more on my macros, and he's helping me own that change. I feel like he is right next to me every single day and I feel a lot of support from her. He's also helped me feel more confident with where I'm at and making sure that I focus on the changes because there's been changes all along.

Before starting, I was absolutely miserable, hated the way that I looked, hated the way that I felt, and was so frustrated and miserable with myself that I was taking it out on my kids and my husband. Every time that my husband told me that I looked good I never believed him. The things I was most concerned about before signing up were honestly that I would spend all this money and not stick to it because I had tried so many things and I could just never stay consistent with it. I didn't understand what I was doing wrong but I was honestly just afraid that I would sign up for something and just fail at it again. What made me actually jump in and sign up was just realizing that I couldn't keep living like that, and I remember sitting on my bedroom floor crying and just feeling like I was never going to be able to stop feeling that way.

I went from 252 to 187 lbs and found 1-on-1 coaching helpful, especially the video feedback that helped me improve form, pace, and reduce ego lifting.
I got to a point where I was weighing 250 lbs and I just knew it wasn't sustainable because I have seen in my family people gain weight, get diabetes, and high blood pressure, and it's something that wasn't for me. So I just started walking and having a calorie deficit, but at that point I was skinny fat and I needed to find a way to start building muscle. Some of the hesitations that I had dealt with making a commitment to myself also was going to be a financial commitment. It was time to stop with the excuses and get to work, and when I started with one-on-one coaching it helped me because I needed some leadership and I needed some guidance. What made it unique to start coaching on one-on-one was I started with no experience, whereas I would usually start programs and I would stop them since those were more video on demand type of workouts. Just do it, you have to stop the excuses because things are going to happen one way or the other and you're either going to get better or you're not going to get better. If you don't know how to start it's always good to get a coach or join a program that's going to lead you into the right locations, and at some point you're just going to have to be honest with yourself as to what it is that you want and understand that it's going to take some dedication and time.
